Years 3 & 4 Roman Residential
Years 3 and 4 are off on what looks like to be a scorching few days of sunshine and fun learning about the Romans at Chedworth Villa and the Corinium Museum Cirencester.
Lots of excited children in Year 3 arrived this morning with their bags and suncream in hand.
The children had a great time in their workshops at Chedworth. They’ve made medicines from herbs and spices and found out about Life in Roman Britain and what it was like to live in the villa at Chedworth. Now on way to the Royal Agricultural College.
The Year 3 children arrives safely back at school this afternoon following a fantastic day at the Corinium Museum. Lots of tired looking children (and grown ups) who should sleep very well tonight!
The Year 4 children have arrived safely at Cirencester for their over night stay after a fun-filled day at Chedworth Roman Villa. Yet another scorching day. They have enjoyed some free time in the beautiful grounds of the Royal Agricultural College and then had dinner.
Year 4 have enjoyed a super day at the Corinium Museum and have now arrived safely back at school. A few tired looking children.
All of the adults who went on the trip, and members of the public commented on how well the children represented Woodstock Primary School throughout the whole of their visit - they were extremely well-behaved, polite and most of all a pleasure to take away.
