The Year 3 and 4 children were given a special live demonstration today to deepen their understanding of the digestive system.

Woodpeckers teacher Mrs Coaker used digestive biscuits, orange juice and a pair of tights to show children how food is processed by the body.

Afterwards, the children continued their learning by exploring the role of teeth and used clay to create models of molars, canines and incisors.
