We had a fantastic day out at Cogges Manor Farm in Witney today. We took part in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' themed activities throughout the morning. We planted beans in pots we had made from newspaper, made Giant's feet cookies in the Victorian kitchen, hunted for golden eggs laid by the golden goose, made the Giant's bed, milked a cow and looked in the dairy. We finished by watching a puppet show of the story and had a look at some of the animals on the farm, including some rabbits and guinea pigs.
