On Friday 2 October children across Year 3 & 4 enjoyed listening to the traditional European tale - Stone Soup. We used this tale to inspire our art and DT activity for the day. 

Children learnt about how pencils are classified and developed their sketching and observational skills and techniques to draw different fruit and vegetables. They enjoyed preparing vegetable soup, but  the best part was drinking it!

As you can see from the photographs we had a wonderful day.
