The children have been learning how to stay safe online. We have discussed the SMART rules. Safe (Keeping our details private), Meeting (Not meeting up with strangers), Accept (Not accepting messages or invites from strangers), Reliable (Not everything you see online is true), Tell (Tell an adult if you are worried about something you have seen online). 

KS1 created SMART posters. KS2 wrote about what they had learnt and prepared a video to share in assembly and UKS2 worked in small groups to create a rap to teach others about the importance of safety and respectful behaviour online. 

We also had a visit from our local PCSO to talk to us about how to use the Internet safely. Then we shared our ideas as a whole school in an exciting assembly to end the day.
