Children in Year 5 enjoyed preparing for World Day of Prayer last week, when we were visited by representatives from the 4 churches in Woodstock. They enjoyed decorating biscuits, making lanterns and flowers and creating dragons to represent Taiwan which was the focus for this year's prayers. Today, we visited St Hugh's church in Woodstock to listen to readings, say prayers and enjoy some drama. The children left their own messages of prayer in readiness for this evening's prayers and represented the school well with their enthusiasm and excellent questions.
